Al Franken may be all right.
John Kneeland

I want to clarify one point. I have no problem with individuals who become wealthy through self-generated income. However, there is a sleazy tactic going on among some corporations called Planned Stock Buybacks in which companies buy up their own shares to make them less available and thereby raise the price. This benefits CEOs and current investors, but means the money will not be invested in workers’ wages. It seems to be used by companies with low-wage workers, such as Wal-Mart. This trend is apparently causing wage stagnation. I don’t know if it affects workers with good high-tech jobs so much, or just unskilled workers. Someone else may have something to add regarding that.
