Eastchester Alumni: Matthew Parlapiano

In 2002, Michael Goldstein entered the Eastchester School District in Eastchester, NY as a media specialist. After his first year he began teaching tv and film production classes and began a district wide film festival.
Since the program’s inception he has educated and guided dozens of students into pursuing careers in both the television and film industry.
This series highlights the dozens of individual alumni who have graduated from the program and currently work in the industry.

Matthew graduated from EHS in 2005 and attended Hartford University with a focus on television and broadcasting.

Since graduating he has been an editor and producer at NBC, MSNBC, MSG, MLB Network, Al-Jazeera America and CBS Interactive. While working full time at MLB Network he garnered three Emmys for his work on MLB tonight. In 2015 Matthew hosted and was keynote speaker at Eastchester Middle School’s Career Day.

Matthew maintains close connection with Michael Goldstein and the Eastchester School District to this day.
