Catching Up With The Radio Show and Three Great Guests: Patricia Carragon, Karen Lynch, & Roxanne Bland

In the last month, I have had a vacation week on July 16th (after delivering the Keynote Presentation at the Iona College Summer Business Symposium) and had myriad minor health problems and so did not publish articles concerning the three great guests on the “johnmac Radio Show” during the month of July (July 2nd, 9th, & 23rd).

On July 2nd, my guest was Patricia Carragon (www.blogtalkradio.com/johmac13/2017/07/02/the-weekly-johnmac-radio-show), Poet, Author, Host & Editor-in-Chief of the Brooklyn, NY — based “Brownstone Poets” (http://brownstonepoets.blogspot.com/; anthologies are available at the site).

On July 9th, my guest was retired SFPD detective and author Karen Lynch (www.blogtalkradio.com/johmac13/2017/07/09/the-weekly-johnmac-radio-show), whose memoir “Good Cop, Bad Daughter“ (https://www.amazon.com/Good-Cop-Bad-Daughter-Unlikely-ebook/dp/B00I8ZFJ82/ref=sr_1_1) deals with her fight for normalcy as she grew up with a mother saddled with mental illness.

On July 23rd, my guest was novelist, publishing consultant, owner of Blackrose Press, columnist, and attorney Roxanne Bland (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/johmac13/2017/07/23/weekly-johnmac-radio-show), whose most recent novel, “The Underground: Second Edition”, was published in April of this year.

My conversation with Roxanne was the 197th episode in the series. Links to the recordings of all shows — interviews with authors, poets, technologists, law enforcement officials, academics, and others who interest me — are available under the radio tab at my web home, www.johnmac13.com.
