How to get the most out of your day everyday!

One of the most important things in life is time management. If we can manage our time wisely, we can do so much more with our lives in a more efficient and productive way.

A good productive day starts with good planning. A popular quote says, the people who fail to plan, are planning to fail,” and I find it absolutely true! If we don’t plan our day, we will end up being reactive instead of being proactive.

Plan the night before

A great way to create a productive day is to plan the night before. This way, when you wake up in the morning, your mind will know how the day will look like. It’s important to create tasks, a short list of goals, and time allocation.

You must create a list, but be careful not to add more than 6 things to that list. You should start with three major goals and then follow with three minor goals. Prioritizing and dividing goals to majors and minors will help you achieve them faster!

Before you go to bed, read your goals out loud and visualize them, and think about how you will execute them the next day. You should repeat this process in the morning too, after you wake up, and before doing anything else.

Early to Bed, Early to Rise

Many people work late and wake up late, these are called the night owls. However some people tend to get up early in the morning. Jim Rohn says that waking up early makes your mind fresh and clean. It’s the perfect way to start the day!

There are so many things that can distract you from your outcome. Most people let everything and everyone intrude in their daily lives and make it ‘theirs’. This means that you might end up doing things for others instead them for you. That’s not particularly wrong, but the more distractions you have, the fewer goals you can achieve.

Discipline and Determination

Pick up the disciplines. What we sow, we reap! Now it’s the best time to sow, so reap good! The best part about sowing and reaping is that you can sow 20% and reap 80%! Discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons. It’s your pick!

Change Your Philosophy

Don’t wish things were easier but wish you were better! By changing your philosophy you can change how you see the world. Work harder on yourself than you do on your job, read books, learn new skills, increase your knowledge, and keep moving forward.

Ignore the Naysayers

If you’re serious about your goals, you must protect them from almost everyone. Your goals are valuable. They are your life, your purpose, and your happiness. Don’t share it with cheap people. Learn when and how to share them with the people you trust, the ones that lift you higher and will support you in what you do.

Whatever you want to accomplish in life, you have to plan ahead. Plan your day, your week, your month and the whole year. Then create a daily plan, take action, be disciplined and follow through. Every single day is the future you have always dreamed off. Live it as if you were already there!
