Sunderland sack Adam Johnson over sexual charges

Sunderland player Adam Johnson has been let go by Sunderland. This is in the aftermath of him pleading guilty to child sex offences.

Mr. Johnson, 28, admitted grooming and having sexual activity with a 15 year old school girl. however, he denied another two further charges of sexual activity.

The fact that the girl was a 15 year old makes it more shocking and really disturbing.

This has come with Mr. Johnson getting his sponsorship with Adidas terminated, as they also agreed that the claims wouldn’t be beneficial for their company and it could tarnish their reputation. it will be hard to find a club that will accept him after this trail has ended.
