1) Watch and practice

It’s crucial to practice and get experience from your own speech because the more you speak, the more confident you will be. You can watch other speakers delivering their speech and learn some quality things which can help you lead a better career. It’s not necessary to speak in front of people to practice, you can practice alone as well, which will help you to monitor your very own skills.

2) Pick a subject and memorize it

Choose a subject that you know about, a little research will cause no harm, but speaking from the heart is something that will make you connect with the audience instantly. Speak from the heart and share things that you want people to know, make sure to understand the concept instead of memorizing the speech because reading things simply makes it monotonous.

3) Who’s your audience?

It’s important to know the kind of audience you’ll be speaking for. Whether it’s a group of kids or adults or other speakers, your speech will be far more effective if you prepare it for the specific audience because this will make things relatable for them.

4) Engage with the audience

The audience loves to engage with the speakers. You can chat up with them before starting your speech and can ask a various question, this will help them to warm up and get to know you better. Try to interact with the audience as you speak by asking a question or giving examples because this is will make the whole process a lot more happening. Moreover, this will help you to take the pressure off.

5) Concentrate on your body language

Pay attention to your body language, stand straight and make eye contacts with people, also walk around and try not to pretend because once you get nervous, your audience will be the first one to realize.
