Managing Your Social Media Is a Full Time Job

There is exemption to this rule, if it is your personal account then it is a hobby. But if you are managing social media for your business then it is a full time job.

Thanks to the internet and social media, you can now communicate directly to your customer. That is a great asset compared with how people used to advertise before they existed.

You can build a relationship directly with your customer, measure the growth, know the demographics, the time of day when most of your customers are online etc.

Despite having all this advantages, there are people who are still treating their social media as hobby. Big mistake.

Chose The Right One

You have to know which social media you need since you can’t be in all of them. Take your time and do research to find out which social media your customers are using, then direct your time and effort there.

Managing your social media account is a full time job. You have to consistently update and engage with your followers. If you don’t have the time to do it, then hire someone who can.

If you can’t afford it, then you have to create the time. However, staying out or treating it as a hobby is not an advisable option, since you will only be hurting your business.
