Brodersen + Kobborg — danish jewelry
In Denmark we have a lot og things to be proud of. One of the things that I especially think is interesting is jewelry. I admit that I work for a living selling jewelry to people, but that does not take away my sincere interest in jewelry and especially watches.
Before I started working at Brodersen + Kobborg I never used to wear a watch on daily basis. I had one at home but I only used it when going to parties such as weddings or big birthdays. I did not understand what the big fuzz was about when some of my friends talked and talked about a new watch the they just bought or dreamt on buying. In 2012 I got my new job as an E-Commerce manager at Brodersen + Kobborg and then things started to change. My first watch was a danish designed Skagen watch and I thougt it was pretty nice and enjoyed wearing it. After getting more and more in to my work and reading about vendors, designers and the quality of finer watches I sold my Skagen watch and bought a nice Certina watch which I still own and wear sometimes. Why dont you wear it all the time you might ask ? — well one day at the office a package arrived with new watches from Raymond Weil which we were to sell at the store. One of them almost spoke to me and today I have the most fantastic Raymond Weil automatic watch on my wrist. Every day I put it on I suddenly understand what the big fuzz is about — I love my watch and I would never even consider selling it, but maybe at some point buy one more to wear at special occasions.
