I’m going to go out on a limb and say Dann is a millennial. The article has good ideas, but some of the responses need language adjustment for people who are not millennials to understand. For example, do not replace words like “work” with “jam”.
Also, never EVER do anything for free. I learned this the hard way starting out 20 years ago. It will get you into an endless spiral of back and forth arguments about future work with that client.
