When Jesus Comes Back…

A brief conversation in our house yesterday:

Daughter #1 – “when Jesus comes back, we can let him stay here!”

Me – “when Jesus comes back, he’s going to rule the world, so he needs to be near his throne. But if you see him, you should invite him to stay with us.”

Daughter #1 – “okay. [slight pause] when Jesus comes to our town, you should let him preach at church.”

Me – “Jesus can preach at our church as much as he wants to! I think he would do a far better job than me or Mr Mueller.”

And then she returns to her snack.

I am going to miss these days…
