Certainly they haven’t made that offer to people on the forum who have bought Bria 4 six months ago. Whether they will, I don’t know.
As I said in my original post, I’m a life-long developer (I’ve been programming for over 35 years) so I understand the nature of software development and the potential issues. But I’m also in business, and understand customer service.
If Counterpath was a single developer I’d have more sympathy, but they aren’t. They are — or are meant to be — a serious company.
