You sound like you are suffering from the same problem. In the end I had to get a senior telephone adviser to help. I gave up on the stores and only went back when I had it okayed from the telephone support.

And yes, I had the same experience with my first one before the screen broke with them checking for the noise — that I had told them was random and didn’t happen all the time — for a few minutes in a noisy store and them concluding it wasn’t making any noises… You couldn’t make it up.

Good luck and insist they repair it (at the least).
