Personal Selection (What are some reasons you selected this tool?)
I selected this camera because it is the camera I have used and owned for several years. I really enjoy using this camera because it has a good focus and fast shutter speeds.
The Nikon D3200 was released by the Nikon camera company. The camera was an upgrade from the D3100 which only had a 14.2 megapixel sensor. The new version had a 24.2 megapixel sensor.
The D3200 is used to take high quality digital photographs. The camera is able to take long exposures and record video as well. The camera also features a guide mode that allows the user to learn how to camera works by using it, with the LCD screen giving suggestions.
The camera can be used by a variety of different demographics. However, it seems to be made for an amateur photographer that wants to learn to use a DSLR camera for the first time. This makes the camera’s guide mode a perfect feature for the camera’s intended user.
Materials + Production
The camera body is made of a plastic shell housing the metal internal components of the camera. There is also a LCD screen on the back of the camera which display’s the camera’s mode and settings. The camera lens is constructed from a combination of metal and plastic with the lens made of high quality glass.
The camera body is very well indicated with arrows and icons on certain parts of the camera. The shutter is also in a very conventional place on the camera so it is easy to locate. The camera can function as almost a “point and shoot” for less experienced photographer. OR the camera can be used as a very customizable, very high quality camera for a professional photographer.
