Buy All Your Furniture at Target, For Tomorrow We Die

Three years ago our family made the big move from one side of Australia to the other. We had to decide what furniture was worth taking and what to sell or give away, but when this was all done, a (very big) truckload of furniture remained that no one wanted. It was all stuff from, you guessed it, Ikea.

I still cringe in shame at the memory of tossing it out at the dump to be bulldozed into fragments. We swore to never buy anything that would end up at the rubbish dump ever again. This is our test of quality.

I’d rather live without it.
