Genes are destiny for certain traits and not for others. But notice how dishonest this article is by saying “genetics isn’t destiny” full stop. Its not a true honest look at the world AS IT IS.

There is a relationship between the height of the parents and the kids. The hair color, eye color, chances of getting depression, and…your IQ. IQ is directly related to the IQ of the parents.

And IQ can only be changed by environment a small amount. And we are talking about not starving kids into malnutrition. Beyond severe malnutrition the environment doesn’t matter much. Education doesn’t change IQ either.

IQ is a taboo subject and being honest can be painful. So I understand the dishonesty. But are we talking science here or feelings?
