Patchwork Poem

Soaring through the sound
 of silence,
Less about defiance,
More about reliance,

We remain lost,
Self gain the cost,
Becoming the viral host,
While few have most,

Awakened the world of
 danger,
No stranger,
To deranged,
Thoughts rearranged,

Patterns emerge,
On the verge,
Of filling the void,
In silence toyed,

With long lost self,
Unused upon the shelf,
No rhyme or reason,
In the ending of a season.
