Siebel application- a CRM solution for your business
Customer relationship management has come a long way since its first beginnings, when all you needed was an address book and a box/drawer filled with the clients’ info. Today, it is a much more sophisticated system, concentrating not only on the basic data about clients. Today’s customer relationship management means gathering information about what the clients do in the real time and then using this data not only to be one step in front of the customers, fulfilling their expectations, but rather a whole mile, creating future trends. This is why CRM plays such a big role in this highly competitive world.
The right CRM solution can literally make or break a business. And with thousands apps, plug-ins and software packages, it seems almost impossible to pick the right one, especially for not-that-savvy-about-technology new-on-the-market business owner. Hence, the reason for this article! We have decided to gather a couple of apps here, and show you their benefits and drawbacks. We have opted for Siebel applications, as they are currently the most popular ones on the CRM market.
Siebel is a CRM software company that specializes in developing apps to the broadest number of CRM customers, hence why, they pay a special attention to scalability, making sure that each of their applications can be used either by gigantic company or one-man firm.
As Siebel is trying to create a certain form of architecture within its organization, it makes sure that every Siebel application is easily upgradable and can be connected to the previous applications. It also makes sure that it can be used with other standalone solutions, such as Resco CRM.
And finally, given that customer relationship management is a tailored thing, i.e. there’s no cookie-cutter solution for every business, Siebel has managed to create CRM apps that fulfill requirements of more than 20 different industries.
3 Most Widely Used Siebel Applications for Businesses
Siebel Mobile Client is a perfect answer to today’s mobility requirements. It is the Siebel application most widely used by the sales employees on the go, as it gives them access to the relevant data regarding the sale and customers. This Siebel application makes the most of the handheld device the employees are using, by storing key information on it. This is why it does not need a constant connectivity with the Remote Server. So that information is up to date, regular updates are made, syncing up the information from the mobile device to the one found on the Remote Server, whenever a secure connection is found. One of the disadvantages of it is that it cannot run on its own, that is, it needs Siebel software.
Siebel Wireless Client is an upgraded version of the previous Siebel application, as it does not need to use Siebel software in order to run. It utilizes a wireless getaway to form a connection with the Siebel database.
Siebel Web Client is a Siebel application that connects the user’s PC with the Siebel database through a Web server, thus enabling them to reach the information found on the Siebel Server.
