Checking weather from your phone couldn’t be easier: Sunshine V0.3 is out

Today we released Sunshine v0.3 to the US and Canadian app store. This release integrates some of the feedback all of the amazing Sunshiners have sent us on what they love and what they miss in the app. So, let’s get to the list :

• More Community : Larger icons on the map, so you can get to know your local community

• More Social : Now you can invite your friends to Sunshine and grow your local community. This doesn’t come without a reward — for each Sunshiner you invite who joins the community, you get 5 points. Because you are awesome :)

Access your favorite locations with a single tap

• Support for 3d Touch : iPhone 6s and 6s Plus owners can enjoy some more awesomeness. You can now get weather for your Home and Work locations from your home screen — and can also report the weather directly.
• Spotlight integration: iOS9 users can type the name of their saved locations in Spotlight and immediately get a weather overview in the search results.

• Bug fixes: Yes, we had a lot of them :) Trying to fix them without killing an insect. Because we love our environment.
