Artistic dust.

I painted the colours of my dream-like childhood,

Freely, with a big, bold, brush.

While whisking darker shades, I smelt the paint on my fingernails-

Darker adulthood rush.

With both combined, the idea felt divine-

an urge to share it with someone of devotion, of trust.

So darling I gave you my life and made this artistic sacrifice,

But all you did was let it gather dust.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
