Play it Safe in a Hot Tub: White Valentine’s Day Special

The most romantic day of the year is just around the corner. Although Feb 14 was just a week ago, “White Valentine” is coming up. It is a holiday celebrated on March 14th; exactly one month after Valentine’s Day. It starts in Japan and it continue to spread world wide.

The chances are that you are trying to come up with a plan for the day. But let’s admit it, buying boxes of chocolates, presenting roses and having fancy dinner reservations all appear to be an old chestnut now. So, what is that you should do for a perfect Valentine’s Day celebration?

Well, this day of love is not always about spending money pampering your loved one, but about nurturing your relationship by conversing and spending quality time together.

Plan to treat your Valentine to a romantic break in the interiors of your home. And when we mention that, the immediate thing that comes to mind is a romantic hot tub soak!

Remember, it’s a special day, and your trip to the hot tub should be extraordinary. You may do this by buying some hot tub accessories and essential oils, having a bottle of champagne or wine on ice and some yummy treats, lighting candles, and of course, playing some soft music for setting the romantic tone.

Did you just realize how valuable of a resource the hot tub can be when it comes to having a perfect date on the loveliest day of the year? No matter how cheesy some people think Valentine’s Day can get, a simple and personalized date like this made with thoughtfulness will always blow you away.

Before you start getting all excited, we must tell you that there are a few tips that you need to remember while you and your partner are in a hot tub celebrating love. Read on to play it safe:

Tip 1: Consider setting the hot tub temperature to be around 100–102 degrees rather than the standard 104 since you are planning to be in the water for more than half an hour.

Tip 2: Increase your romantic time in the hot tub by sitting up and keeping the water at around chest level as this will allow your body to regulate its internal temperatures easily. Don’t forget to look up the dangers of soaking too long in a hot tub before your delightful evening.

Tip 3: The heat of the hot tub water intensifies the effects of alcohol, and the outcome can be menacing. It is suggested to take it easy on the alcohol while you’re in the hot tub. However, the alcohol content of a glass of champagne is 12 percent alcohol by volume, and hence, a glass of champagne (each for you and your partner) is safe to be enjoyed in a hot tub.

Tip 4: Getting intimate in a hot tub must be avoided for a number of reasons. But don’t let this kill your mood as making sweet love in a hot tub is equally amazing.

This Valentine’s Day, both hot tubs and romance is good for you and your soul mate. Also, its continuous existence in your life can lower your blood pressure, boost your immune system, improve your relationship and help you live longer.

Happy White Valentine’s Day!
