Being in pain is so painful

Trying to crawl out hurt the soles of your feet

As if someone is slicing every bit of life out of you

That emptiness and loneliness you feel is incomparable to anything else

Even the tears that drape you at night sting

Breathing hurts, waking up feeling suffocated by last night sticks to you with an aftertaste so deep, you feel it years later

It hurts so much to smile, to be, and to live

~sigh~
You begin to search for silence, a peace not known to this world
