IIT JAM is the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. at the Indian Institute of Technology. IIT JAM is an entrance exam started conducting in the year of 2004–2005 academic session. The purpose of the IIT JAM is to admit the candidates in the various courses, degree programs such as M.Sc., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, M.Sc.-MTech., etc. at the IITs and IIS (Indian Institute of Science) after the Bachelor’s degree.
