Ideally, every child would have admirable potential role models within their family or social circle. Unfortunately, that’s not the world we live it. Also, many people find inspiration in role models with very specific attributes, the type that may not be present in every neighborhood. On top of that, there are people who need fictional role models to inspire them to be the first non-fictional person to do something.
