I agree with you on this. I really like to use Apple Pay but there’s no doubt that a contactless card is so much quicker. For some reason, I could never get the timing right with the fingerprint on my iPhone — usually unlocking the phone with Touch ID by mistake and then having to go into the Wallet app…

I tried to use my Apple Watch to pay on the tube but found that as I wear it on my left wrist, the reader was also on the wrong side for me.

That said, I’m a big fan of Apple Pay. Looking forward to retailers accepting larger payments (>£30) one day.

Apple Pay coupled with my Mondo Card would be perfect.
