Joseph Addison once said, “he who hesitates is lost”. All successful twenty-first century young entrepreneurs all have this quote in mind when starting their own business. The young men and women on this list, according to Incomediary, had that very mindset, and you’ll be amazed to see where it’s gotten these entrepreneurs today.

Madison Robinson

Fifteen year old Madison Robinson dreamt of light up flip-flops at the age of eight. Every kid has a dream like hers, but Madison was one of the few to pursue it. Seven short years later, Robinson’s Fish Flops are being sold in department stores all across America.

Nick D’aloisio

Nick is the eighteen-year-old founder of Summly. D’aloisio released Trimit in March 2011. Trimit is an application that condensed text into a summary of as much as 1,000 or as little as 140 characters. However, in 2013, Nick shut down Trimit and used the funds to produce an improved version called Summly. Summly is now owned by yahoo after being purchased in 2013.

Palmer Luckey

Twenty-one year old Luckey has set out to change the video gaming world by creating Oculus VR. Oculus VR is a virtual gaming headset that essentially puts you inside your favorite video games.

Twenty-three year old, Caroline is the CEO of Volumental. Volumental developed the first cloud-based 3D scanner using just an internet browser with a depth camera to create 3D models of virtually anything from your favorite lamp to your body!

Stacey Ferreira

Twenty-one year old Ferreira co-founded MySocialCloud with her brother when she was just eighteen. We’ve all suffered the hassle of forgetting a password, but now MySocialCloud is putting an end to the suffering of forgetting your password.

Evan Spiegel

Twenty-three year old, Spiegel is the founder of Snapchat. Snapchat is one of the most popular ways of communication, especially among teens. Snapchat is an app that allows you to take a picture and instantly share it with your friends as you would an instant message.

Brian Wong

Twenty-two year old Brian Wong is the co-founder of Kiip. Kiip is helping companies bridge the gap between consumers’ achievements and real life commercial promotions. The app does this by allowing brands to promote their products to their audience in everyday life. Kiip could send me a free pen when I finish writing this article as a promotion.
