Wound & Ostomy Care Society of India is voluntary, non-profit organization that unites wound and ostomy care to patients, education and provide cost effective wound and ostomy care products to patients. It is to build a professional health care community dedicated for advancing the clinical practice and delivery of clinical expertise to those who need wound and ostomy care. We focus on holistic care to patients from different settings including hospitals, home and nursing camps.

The Wound & Ostomy Care Society of India coordinate worldwide exchange of knowledge on wound and ostomy care among professionals. Besides wound and ostomy care society will provide a supportive peer group network throughout the country for the health professionals to share experience, expertise and knowledge in the area of wound and ostomy care. Our wound and ostomy care society is vehemently adhered to improve clinical practices, education, research and availability of cost effective ostomy product to patients.

Our purpose as an organization is to improve quality of life of all those living with any kind of wound & ostomy through innovative interventions designed collectively by professionals specialized in the ostomy care.

VISION:

To be one and only answer to the question of rendering care to those who living with an ostomy, wound and palliative care.

Our Commitments:

We believe that Nursing professionals play a pivotal role in wound and Ostomy care. Interventions developed, tested and implemented by Wound and Ostomy Care experts and allied professionals can assist patients to prevent, adjust to recover from chronic wound and compliance of Ostomy.

  • We will educate Health care professional about wound care, pressure sore care, ostomy care, faucal fistula care, continence care, palliative wound care, diabetic foot care and lymphedema management and availability of cost effective wound, ostomy and continence care product to all patients.
