The 1,000 Floor Elevator: Why Most Designers Fail Google’s Infamous Interview Design Challenge

This article is not just for designers but us all. The presumptive reflex is something we develop with age. Seeing the world through a child’s eyes is an important asset that few possess due to the fear attached to asking questions the older we become.

Your challenge was to designers but why stop there, for we will all benefit by stopping to ask meaningful, hell sometimes stupid questions. I always tell kids I speak to, the only stupid question is the one unasked. Great article. Fantastic. When we make assumptions (or presumptions), the old addage says, we only make asses of ourselves. I love this, think, ask, assess, ask again. What beauty comes from the right questions. Do not be afraid to ask 1000 to ask the right one.
