Agree. As you said, running a business and virtual monopoly allows the company to treat the passenger however they want. Yet again, a company will treat better a customer that spends more money and it obviously sounds like a perfectly good reasoning. We need to look at this considering that, for some people, traveling is a need, not a luxury. So, if you have money just to pay the lowest rate and automatically you became the least important client, then, something is wrong. Money is being used to protect you from any inconvenience and not everyone can afford that protection.
