Reader Question: How insane is it for a 46 year-old to try to start a Hollywood writing career?

A lot of what I wanted to say I found in the comments archive, so I’ll be brief. But what keeps me motivated is the decision I made that writing will always be a part of my life. I’ll always try to tell a story, or find ways to execute the story that’s been sitting on my mind for years. As I get older (I’m 30 now) I find that those old ideas are getting better, they’re finding a home, and soon I finish a product I’ll be proud to say I’ve written. It’s a long shot, but things get better with age, so I welcome it!
