As an Autistic woman, I soundly reject this statement.
Margo Whitlock

There is nothing valuable about an ideology that makes indiscriminate value judgments about neurodivergence, and about neurodivergent individuals (falsely named as ‘communities.’) After all, making indiscriminate value judgments like that was what the Nazis did. Neurodiversity is the mere opposite of Nazism.

Neurodiversity, like all forms of diversity, must be rejected without qualification. Instead, a case by case approach must be applied to differences. One cannot simply be for or against differences, in the abstract, absent of context.
