What I mean is that individual women have interests, but ‘women in general’ don’t. The interests of individual women clash with each other. As with other individuals from other groups too.
If there is no such thing as the gay community, the black community, the Jewish community, the Muslim community, there is also no such thing as the female community.
But I expect that most people working for equality know this anyway, as it’s a fairly intuitive. I still ventured to mention it anyway, because there are a number of postmodernist fundamentalists who practice groupthink, and one can observe this in various places.
