I love this Nina, and it reinforces how important good communication is across the whole team. Every role in a team has different activities, goals, and measurements. And while many leaders have come up through the ranks, and remember what those things were and how they felt, we don’t live them everyday. And more junior team members don’t yet have a context for how the business runs. Taking time to share these things through 1:1’s, weekly “meeting for business”, and practice focus groups is a great way to create shared understanding across an entire organization. It helps us work better together, and understand why decisions are made. It also makes better teams, and better leaders in the future. Woot!
