This guide is exactly what I was looking for, and everything seemed to be going great up until the grub-install line. This is the error I’m getting:

$ sudo grub-install --target x86_64-efi --boot-directory=/boot --efi-directory=/boot/efi --bootloader-id="$(lsb_release -ds)"grub-install.real: error: /usr/lib/grub/x86_64-efi/modinfo.sh doesn't exist. Please specify --target or --directory.

Any ideas? I should note that I’m using this guide to install linux Mint, but since it’s based on Ubuntu I don’t see why it would make a difference, and especially not in the case of this particular error…
