It’s too bad you didn’t ask a physicist, they would have told you right away why design (from an engineering and technical standpoint) does not scale. It’s because the laws of physics don’t scale. Your problem is a derivative of that. I realize you are probably talking about something else, but in general, very few things scale well. Double the size of a poster, it looks different. Make it 1000 times larger and you might not even see it anymore. See?
