The thing is, arguably, we really can’t multitask. It’s not how our brain works. Sure we might be able to eat a banana while writing a text message or something like that. But when it comes to tasks, we really can’t.

And multitasking was a thing, our performance for each task would be fragmented and therefore yield average results.
