The 5 Spices for Almost Every Dish

I have lived out of my car for most of the last 4 years. I have travelled all across North America and I haven’t had very much money or space while I was doing it. My life has been chaotic but being a farm boy and knowing my health is important, I always make sure I good well for myself. Here are the 5 spices I feel can be used with almost any healthy dish.
Salt, pepper, oregano, curry powder and garlic.
Lastly, my splurge is always to include Maple Syrup with my spices. It always gives a sweetness to counter the pungency of the spices. A perfect blend in my mind. When one is sick, oregano oil is a natural remedy as good as Buckley’s. I cook with it for the flavour and to prevent sickness. Same goes for the garlic.
Eggs, any type of meat, sauces, rice, potatoes, etc... All 5 spices don’t have to be used at all times, but to me all 5 are the most versatile if you want a good base to start from. And cooking should be easy and basic. If you want cooking tips, just ask.
