Jonathan’s parents were refugees from what was formerly known as Saigon during the Vietnam War. They met at an Indonesian refugee camp. After staying at the refugee camp for nearly a year, Tai, Jonathan’s father was relocated to Belgium, and Thuy, Jonathan’s mother was relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.
