Don’t feel too bad. Tesla has banned me from my car also.

I own a Tesla Roadster. After returning home from a 4-week trip, I found my Tesla connected to its charger but it’s battery was dead. Tesla service informed me the cost to replace the battery was $38,205.50!

After the shock wore off and reality set in, I agreed to buy this battery and get my Tesla back on the road. This is was in October 2015. Tesla has NO IDEA when my car will be repaired.

Last week, I had to go to the dealer to pick up my license plates. NC won’t allow me to register the car without an inspection. The car won’t move and so having the car inspected is impossible.

Tesla has effectively banned me from the car I actually own.

Don’t feel bad, at least they don’t have any of your money.
