I was waiting until a Men’s Rights Activist type showed up in the responses, and sure enough… found one!

I know you’re frightened. You’ve never actually known what gender equality looks like, so you interpret any greater voice for women as a “war on men” that destroys who you are. Much like those Christians who think there’s a “war on Christianity” because people are finally demanding respect for other religions and secularism, you wrap yourself in a false persecution complex. It’s easier to pretend you’re the marginalized victim than to admit you’re the oppressor.

Tell me, what is the “natural male/boyish spirit?” A desire to treat women as sexual conquests rather than people? Seeing them as baby factories rather than fellow parents? No. Humanity is defined by more than one gender, and real men know you have to get along with women if you’re going to be a functioning member of society. MGTOW and other cultish MRA movements are an attempt to fight against this, an attempt to treat all women as enemies you must avoid or subjugate. That, to me, is cowardly; brave men know they can treat women with respect without erasing their identity.
