Catfishing 101 and the Truth of Filters

Whether it’s deep fakes or filters on Snapchat, Facebook, or Instagram. People are always seeking perfection which does not exist.

Yes, all of what I’m saying is nothing new & augmented reality is only a few years old.

Yet, that’s where we are now. Technology can bend in shape are reality but you have to be smart enough to realize it.

It could be an actor using technology or face shifting software to make you believe that you’re watching Barack Obama, Tom Cruise, or any number of celebrities or public figures.

In good taste, I’m all for the satirical humor take on some of these people because it is ultimately funny to make fun of life.

Anyways now that I’m slightly went of track, I’m getting to the point now.

A friend of mine give me a real life example of a Snapchat filter and a real photo without a filter.

As you can see she has acne, blemishes, and all sorts of imperfections.
