Question time

Heading to China tomorrow. Or more specifically the island of Sanya, in the south.

I don’t know anything about it. Other than it's hot and steamy. Someone said it was the Chinese “Torremolinos”. I doubt that, but if it is I’m not sure what that would look like. What’s the Chinese equivalent of Irish bars, egg and chips and pints of Stella?

Going to China to judge the Clios. Again it feels like a bit of a step into something out of focus, something I can only see fragments of.

What will it be like? How does the voting work? How will I feel being cut off from the world and being so focused on work for a week? What will the other judges be like? Will I get there ok (lots of planes to take)? Lots of questions. Like Sanya I only have tiny pieces of information. “he’s a great guy!” “Great experience, so different from Cannes”…we will see.
