Yes, SeeControl is intended for business/enterprise. I use SmartThings at home. While there are a number of SmartThings proprietary devices, they are pretty good at being open and integrating with a bunch of z-wave and zigbee devices from other manufacturers. They also have cloud-based connections to other systems like Netatmo, Sonos, DropCams, etc. Further, they have a pretty extensive API and lots of third parties integrate things.
