The pendulum continues to swing and who knows where or when it will reach a balance? We’ve had over 5,000 years of patriarchal domination and all it’s wrought in dysfunctional systems across all aspects of the biosphere.
It’s all about separation.
Violence rather than dialog just keeps that pendulum swinging. Reactionary dialog is an oxymoron.
I view the above article as being written from a ‘victim’s mindset’, doesn’t empower enlightening dialog, but keeps us on the same predator class hierarchy that keeps us separate.
In one breath the OP seems to suggest she’s an ally of the trans community and in the next it’s about “separate/but equal”, replete with biases and prejudices that have nothing to do with the trans community and everything to do with her own traumas.
I hope, with love and more empathy than i’ll address here, that she find healing for her wounded self in those areas that continually keeping her locked away from authentic solidarity and genuine understanding.
As to all the vitriol…Cybertoxicity is in direct proportion to how we relate to each other as fellow human beings. If i don’t think for myself, and just become conditioned through algorithms and those that perpetuate that programming, then what am i doing on here at all?
