The problem is often more severe than you imagine. It’s a kind of depression caused by all happening during this holiday. We are still right into the Christmas celebrations, and New Year’s Eve is still ahead. But by actively working on it, you can easily prevent the holiday blues.

The accumulated and accelerated mode of happiness and positive vibes before Christmas gets a turnaround when all festivities are over.

Some common symptoms of holiday blued are:

  • Tiredness, lack of energy or motivation
  • Tension
  • Frustration
  • Loneliness or isolation
  • Sadness
  • A sense of loss

When the January statement of your credit card expenses arrives, it boosts your holiday blues playing loudly in your ears.

Do not wait until January to treat what you know will happen, but start doing something already today. These last days of the year would be a perfect moment to dedicate time to yourself and prepare for the year to come.
