First Professional Exploration Post: Diving into Civic Tech!

For my professional exploration, I’m going to be diving into the area of Civic Tech. I honestly didn’t even know this field had a name until I started research it. It encompasses where technology overlaps with politics, policy, human rights, civic engagement, etc. It’s fascinating to see the different subgroups that have developed, and how they communicate within and between the groups. For the most part, it seems that everyone is very supportive of each other. I’m excited to jump in, do some more research, and hopefully get in touch with some of these people.
