An Ode to my Moon
All I can see is darkness, and your face in my hands.
I can feel your lips pressing on mine. I gently bite, and tug.
I feel your face in my hand, my thumb slowly tracing your cheeks. It glides through your warm skin. It’s still dark and yet I can clearly see everything — every breath, every movement. I see a glimpse of your eyes, and feel that all you see is darkness, too.
I retreat back to the darkness where everything is crystal. Our breaths synced and we move like dancers in the night. I feel your ears — warm and red, your hair — soft and smells like the city, your forehead — I kiss, your lips, red and open.
We move. Together. We dance. Like the water flowing — and I feel myself falling into that river. Falling deeper, I do not drown, I just feel inside of something big. I feel warm. I feel happy.
I am happy.
