YOU’RE INVITED TO BE ALL OF WHO YOU ARE

Stephanie ,since you have no idea who I am ,this won’t mean that much, but I’m a guy that studied Musical Composition as a major at the College-Conservatory of Music ,at the University of Cincinnati. One of my classmates was Stephen Flaherty of Ragtime fame.I am trying ,right now,to write a musical theater work about growing up as a Gay Christian in the Bible Belt.

I tell you all this so you’ll know I was really effected by the song “No Shame” ,that I heard and saw a video for in the Advocate magazine. The more pieces that are written, the better for the next generation. That’s my reason for pursuing this idea: the kids .The story I just read shows me that your impulse for writing is why your piece has such wings.Reaching out to the souls that have touched us,and trying to recount the words they needed to hear. That’s good work .Congratulations.
