When Startup Accelerators Work

Marty, you’ve encapsulated the feelings of so many of us that have had the privilege to be accepted and graduate from the Iron Yard’s Accelerator program.

I’m 47 years old. I’ve got my fair share of business battle scars. My biggest regret is that I didn’t have the chance to go through an accelerator program in my early 20’s. It would have “accelerated” a lot of learning, so absent, in my early professional career. Yet, I’m entirely thankful I had the opportunity to go through the Iron Yard’s Digital Healthcare Accelerator program in 2013. It changed the velocity of my professional and company’s growth. (Even old dogs can learn new tricks.)

ChartSpan owes much of its success to the learnings, mentors and network created from our experience in the Iron Yard Accelerator program. We feel so strongly about that statement, everyone in our company feels a debt of gratitude.

The Iron Yard is, indeed, a great example of an accelerator program “that works.” Thank you to everyone at the Iron Yard for making it so.
