Oh that #babylife #fatherhood

Ariana is 16 months 11 days. We’ve been blessed beyond belief. I started this note wanting to share my Top 25 tips of fatherhood, or 10 ways to be a great dad, or 3 ways to balance fatherhood.. And the list/tips/suggestions started to go in a million directions (trust me, my editor in chief / wife.. read them all).

In actuality I don’t have any tips, or ways to be a great dad. My entire 16 months and 11 days of fatherhood have been based on sheer humbleness, humility and a learning attitude of what I see, hear, do or mistakes I’ve made. But the one absolute truth, I could not have done this with anyone stronger, more beautiful and loving as my bestie and wife, Kirsten.

Kirsten you are our rock. You keep me level and you keep this family grounded and connected. You are the strongest person I know — you battle your rheumatoid arthritis with fierceness and fortitude. When it seems like me or Ariana are having the roughest work/dad/(add anything here) day, you cheer us up with your gentle words. You display love and gentleness everyday. I am blessed and thankful everyday for you.

I could think of the ‘best tips of fatherhood’ but they all start with a strong and loving partner like you, Kirsten. As we add a second to the Nads clan (coming February 2017!!), I’m truly blessed, thankful, and excited that we have you. Thank you Kirsten, you are an amazing friend, wife and mother.

Ready or not… Going from zone defense to man on man coverage. Nads Junior coming February 2017.
