So you think everyone shouting confidently at each other will help?
If I disagree with someone, the only way I’ve found to get them to listen receptively to me is to first listen receptively to them. Listening as if I want to be convinced of them also helps me to clarify my arguments so that I can point out the logical inconsistencies that I see. People need to be heard before we can change anyone’s minds. Also you had a typo where a now should be a know in the article :)
